Icebreaker

Sometimes being in a relationship with someone who isn’t right for you is like being in an ice breaker ship. You didn’t get your needs met in the warmer waters, and so you hope that maybe if you go further, take more risks, make more allowances you will find what you’re looking for. But go too far and you’ll get stuck in the cold numbness of complacency. Turning around is nearly impossible and the way back is unclear, often riddled with icebergs you made looking for something that was never there.

If your needs aren’t getting met in the warmer waters, they probably wont be met in the dangerous ice covered sea. Making allowances and taking risks are not the same as love and loyalty.

Ye be warned.
